New beginnings. . .

Wow, I never dreamed that I would start my own blog. I believe that I was designed to share my thoughts and passions with people, and well what better way than to share on the good ole' interwebs.

I would like to kick off by answering a question.

More like a question that I think you would ask me about myself/blog. . . but really I have no idea what you would ask me. . .

Q: WHO ARE YOU & WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?

A: So glad you asked! My name is Taylor Huss, I am 22 years old looking to find beauty in the life that God has handed me. I am attending bible college, Moody Bible Institute- Spokane, WA, and will be graduating this spring (PRAISE THE LORD!) with a Bachelors of Science in Biblical Studies. I am newly wedded (of 13 months) to my wonderful, better half, Tanner, who will also be graduating this spring from the MBI with a degree in Biblical Exposition. Both of us have no jobs lined up, nor are we sure of anything really. In this current place of uncertainty, God has us both looking to Him to find answers as to where we will be in this next year, and in the years to come. I am anxious to see what things lie and await us, but that is to be determined.

This is where I find myself "lost." I want to "find" what God wants me to do with the rest of my life. What I have "found" is that God isn't going to bring this story together without some cooperation. For years I was stuck in the mentality of "God will give me His will in a nice package. . .while I wait", but what I didn't ponder and think through was that He wants us to be actively seeking His will. There seems to be a theme here. . .

To bring this altogether; I have passions and gifts that the good and gracious Lord has given me, and I want to use them for His glory. These are my loves and faves. .  .
Things I love :
-God
-Hubby
-Helping people
-Reading and learning
-My baby, Rico
-Family
-Food
-Saving money
-Laughing
-Clothes
-Children
-Music
-My home
-Great outdoors
-Traveling

I am sure there are many absent from this list, but I intend to allow God to show me more as I put on my brave pants and try new things. I will fail, but there will be victories as well. The struggle in life is a beautiful thing, and I hope to learn to embrace that. I hope you will join me on this quest, and learn new things with me. Lets see what God does with it. . .
